SPOILERS: Nightwing: The New Order #5

It's the day after Christmas, and I just want to not do annnnnnnything. But comics must go on!

The Spoilers:

After a harrowing escape, aided by Liz, the woman from Dick's former team who had been leaking things to the Titans (also, her sister was a meta, I don't think we know who yet), the Titans regroup, having suffered some loss of powers (Wally was dosed with something that screws up his connection to the Speed Force). Dick still thinks he's leaving with Jake, but Jake wants to stay, and Dick gets knocked out by Lois' blue ring.

The team heads to Metropolis, with Dick restrained, where they meet with Superman and Lex Luthor, who are trying to find a cure, hoping Jake will lead them to it. Clark and Jake speak, and we learn a bit about what happened all those years ago. Bruce had a weapon from Apokalips that would have purged the planet of powered humans, making it easier to invade. At one point Dick talked Bruce out of using it, but after Clark became mind controlled via Black Kryptoninte, he murdered Bruce, and that was the tipping point for Dick.

Speaking of Dick, he's still got a direct line to Kate, and he's about to pull a real dick move.

The Opinion:

The best thing this book has done is make you feel conflicted about what's going on. Both sides have really good points and neither are really on the wrong side of things. There's no clear cut shade of black and white, nothing but grey. It strikes a nice balance between the arguments. That said, by the end, it's hard to side with Dick.
