November and me remembering to read comics has been pretty bad... not aided by Thanksgiving this week, I actually forgot about them this week, not just lacked the time to read.
Gotham Academy #3 Preview
I want to know what's up with Oliver and her mother, "Calamity," nooooowwww...
Also, random note, this book has seemed to have a different supporting colorist each issue, and while it looks generally pretty cohesive, I'm starting to see differences each issue. It doesn't really bug me anything, I'm just curious to see what goes into coloring this book.

Looking Forward: December 3rd, 2014
Yeah it's Thanksgiving and yeah I've got a post to do, I'm dedicated like that... through the magic of scheduling posts a week in advance! It's officially December, which means this is the last time I get to complain about this year vanishing in thin air, so, one last time: What the fuck?
- Batman Eternal #35: I guess this kicks off the third act? The series has been decent, but dragging its feet week after week, so hopefully it wraps up strong.
- Grayson #5: Some more Paragon stuff, bet this ends on a Midnighter Round 2 cliff hanger.
- Gotham Academy #3: Boy, Olive sure doesn't like Batman that much, does she?
- Detective Comics #37: Manapul is back with a new arc about Anarky.
Tomorrow would be Black Friday, and you're in the spending mood, right? Well, might I direct you to the banners I've got on my page. If you click on those, and buy anything from the shops within that browsing session, that means you support Gotham Spoilers and you're a pretty cool dude.

SPOILERS: Gotham by Midnight #1
Out of all the new Gotham content to come those past two months, this is by far the biggest "What the?" of the bunch... So, how'd it turn out?
SPOILERS: Catwoman #36
Well, it certainly didn't take very long for Selina to be in a position that potentially compromised her morals.

Arkham Manor #2 Preview
This title, along with Gotham Academy and Gotham by Midnight are all books I want to see do really cool stuff with their setting. It's one thing just to slap "Gotham" on a title, but it's another thing to utilize it well.

Batman Eternal #34 Preview
I'm sure there'd be some suspense to this preview if we didn't know Julia was fine given her appearances in Endgame.

Stack Rundown, 11/22/2014
Thanks to work, Dragon Age, GTA, and then some more Dragon Age, I sorta forgot about comics this week. I didn't even finish reading the last three books I needed to until this morning, and then I wrote everything within the last hour. Totally a getting shit done sort of morning... but fuck, I need to never do that again on a week when two Grant Morrison books come out.

Looking Forward: November 26th, 2014
New book city next week.
- Gotham by Midnight #1: Quite possibly the weirdest of the new books, and the one I have the most questions about. I hope this series does a good job of establishing why it should exist in Gotham, specifically.
- Batman Eternal #34: Fucking Hush, or something, sure.
- Arkham Manor #2: Looks like Bruce's new persona of Jack Shaw is going to meet a Mr. Zsasz.
- Catwoman #36: Selina's the boss, but ??? is Catwoman?
THANKSGIVING IS NEXT WEEK. So you know what that means? So is Black Friday! HEY! Be a good capitalist monster and shop at the stores that support the site? All you got to do is access them through my links and you're good to go. Will either of them have Black Friday sales? Hell if I know, I don't read those newsletters! But at least you'll be doing your shopping from a computer, like smart people do!

SPOILERS: Harley Quinn #12
Harley Quinn is no stranger to breaking the fourth wall, but now she steps into the dangerous territory of COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMEEEEENT.

Batman Group February 2015 Solicitations
Pretty consistent month for the Bat titles, as there doesn't seem to be any major creator changes to take note of. The one new bit of info is that there will be a Harley Quinn Valentine's Day Special, because DC is clearly going all-in on Harley.

Batman and Robin #36 Preview
I wonder how much this book is going to get out of super powered Damian being back for three months, before it goes on break for Convergence. Have I mentioned how annoyed I am that Convergence is a thing?

The new Thor is probably the character I want it to be! There's a new Captain America! Then some spooooooooooky shit in the creator owned realm. That's pretty much it, this week.

Batman Eternal #33 Preview
(Source: Comicosity)
Looking Forward: November 19th, 2014
Another week, another three comics for me to read and review.
- Batman Eternal #33: Batman Eternal gonna Batman Eternal, fuck it, I don't know.
- Batman and Robin #36: The penultimate Robin Rises issue for this series' involvement... People are probably gonna get punched!
- Harley Quinn #12: Harely and Power Girl's ticking time bomb of a team-up continues!
We should get February solicitations next week as well, which is kinda crazy to think about, I guess. This month has sort of flown by, solicits are sneaking up on me now.
Hey, you know how I always ask you to support Gotham Spoilers by shopping through the banners I've got on the site? Yeah, do that.

SPOILERS: Batman #36
So, by now, cat's out of the bag, and Joker's back... Boy is it not pretty this time... Not that things between Batman and the Joker ever have been, but that just means things have gotten a whole lot worse.
SPOILERS: Batman Eternal #32
Who needs Convergence Stephanie Brown when we've got this Stephanie Brown... continuously getting punched in the face or something, oh, no... Stephanie.
SPOILERS: Batgirl #36
Now that we're past the culture shock phase of this new Batgirl direction, let's get down to business kicking some anime cosplayer's asses. Yeah... never saw that in Batgirl before, did you?

So, Joker's Face Got Better
So, the big question was what was the Joker going to look like without his face this time... And the answer seems to be, he just grew a new one! (Or got Hush to make a new one, or something, I don't know). Basically, he looks like Joker straight out of Boardwalk Empire to me, fancy pinky and all.
The Hitfix link has got Andy Kubert's cover for #37 as well, and in other "I don't want to make a post about this" news, here's the link for variant covers for Batgirl and the Halrey Quinn Holiday Special.

Batman Eternal #32 Preview
Unfortunately, it's time to say goodbye to Jason Fabok. I believe he's on next week's issue and that's it. I will say that a number of these panels look really familiar. Will have to go back and look through previous issues just to compare.

Going to admit to a brain fart here... Spent a little too much time looking at that Cliff Chiang variant, trying to figure out what the spray paint said... Whoops.

Batman #36 Preview
This whole Scarecrow fear toxin thing is weird for a couple reasons... First off, why is it even there? Sort of odd to just have it show up with no explanation, while the whole Joker return thing going... Second, I don't think you can throw around the name "Cassandra" around in Gotham randomly.

Stack Rundown, 11/08/2014
Not going to lie, this week... the last thing I wanted to do was read comics, and then write about them. Hell, I literally just got done reading this week's books a couple hours ago (and not even including all of them in this post), thus didn't write anything until right now. I don't know, I'm just a bit burnt out at a moment. Oh well, the show must go on.

Looking Forward: November 12th, 2014
If the continuation of Endgame wasn't great enough, we've got the one-two monthly punch of Gotham Academy followed by the new Batgirl the next week. GENIUS!
- Batman #36: Like I said, Endgame! We know the Joker is back going in this time, so expect even more fucked up craziness this month.
- Batgirl #36: Batgirl vs two motorcycle driving anime looking characters? SURE!
- Batman Eternal #32: Stephanie Brown's reintroduction hasn't been without its growing pains... which mostly include people punching her in the face :(
Thats all for next week, support Gotham Spoilers by shopping at those banners I got!

SPOILERS: Grayson #4
It was only a matter of time before Dick being the only male in a school full of college-aged girls caused some problems. Cue the man-ty raid.
SPOILERS: Gotham Academy #2
Good lord this book is one of the best looking things DC is putting out at the moment. No arguments to be had about it, that's just fact.

The colors in this goddamn book, god damn. All the characters could be speaking gibberish, and I'd probably go: "I don't know guys, have you seen how it looks?"

Grayson #4 Preview
Chris Burnham got an early read of this issue and just posted the words "manty raid" as a reaction on Twtitter. God I hope this issue is as silly as those two words make it out to be.

Batman Beyond Saturdays, 11/01/2014
I wasn't feeling well last Saturday, and with the final chapter a week away, I decided to skip the post last week. So double the Batman Beyond finale this week, and then, THAT'S ALL.
Stack Rundown, 11/01/2014
Oddly enough, there was no Marvel books for me to read this week, I guess they just didn't try on that fifth week of the month. FOR SHAME. You know who did try? Image. Lots of Image books to talk about this week!
