Panels of the Week, 10/17/2013

No Red Hood panel this week, since I don't really like the art, at all, but we've got Li'l Gotham to make up for it?

Batman and Two-Face #24: Pat Gleason is a lot like Doug Mahnke, where his stuff, after being inked, can look incredibly detailed or sort of flat and basic. Mark this one in that detailed category. All the details on Harvey's face look great, and I love the little glint of light coming out of his bad eye.

Batman/Superman #4: I don't know what I liked more, this generally pretty creepy looking Jae Lee Batman, or the reaction panel from Earth 2 Batman telling ours to get therapy.

Batwoman #24: This is one of those spreads where I'm really happy everyone involved had the intelligence not to put any text on the page, let the art do all the work.

Batman - Li'l Gotham #20: Forgot to do a post about this on Sunday, but surprise! Another great issue... all about horror stories involving Alfred of all people.

  1. the ra's al ghul panel was decent... nothing espactacular, but the art is so terrible that decent art just stands out, sadly.
