Batman/Superman Crossing Over with Worlds Finest

Hot of the presses, Batman/Superman to cross over with Worlds Finest beginning in January with Worlds' Finest #19, then presumably continuing into the February and March issues of Batman/Superman. Yep, that's about it.

In general, I like the idea of this. I always liked the concept of Earth 2 characters being stuck on our Earth in secret, but the problem is that the book (Worlds' Finest) was so damn boring when I read it! With the boredom came resentment that we were getting this boring... bleh, instead of Helena Bertinelli, who is a FAR superior character in general, than a Levitz written Helena Wayne.

So I don't know what I'm going to do with covering Batman/Superman come this crossover, I'll wait and see and how this is structured (be it stand alone or read one issue right after the other) and decide how I'll cover it. But I can tell you that I will not be buying any issues of Worlds' Finest, that's for damn sure. Sorry DC, count that as one back fire with pairing a low selling book with a high in a crossover.

  1. I remember reading somewhere that all the men in the Bat-family kept their superhero personas after the new 52 relaunch, but the females experienced a shake up that led things downhill. We lost Oracle, Black Bat, Batgirl (Stephanie), and Helena Bertinelli. I think DC needs to just reset what happened to the Bat-ladies.
The crossover might work out well, but I think you should end World's Finest, move PowerGirl into the Superman family of comics and put this Huntress into the Birds of Prey (it might be the only thing that can save that series since they probably won't bring Starling back). Huntress needs to be back in the BAt-famoly, even if she is from Earth 2
