SPOILERS: The "2.0" of Batman Beyond 2.0

Kyle Higgins and Thony Silas launch Batman Beyond 2.0 today, with the release of the first digital chapter, and I'll tell you right now, it's pretty damn good. A year has past since the last arc, and much like post-Infinite Crisis "One Year Later" stories, there are some changes, and mysteries to be had. Something has happened, and we're not quite sure what that is, but results of this event range from Terry and Dana no longer being together, to something real big, that shakes up the status quo of the entire Batman Beyond mythos...

Which of course I'm going to spoil for you, right after the jump.

While Terry McGinnis has always been in the driver seat within Beyond, he's always had a back-seat driver of sorts in the former Batman, Bruce Wayne... but not anymore.

Dick Grayson has replaced Bruce Wayne as Terry's mentor. What happened between Terry and Bruce? Hell, where is Bruce? Those are all answers we'll get sooner or later, but if you're a fan of Beyond, and that hook doesn't grab you, I don't know what else will.

So like I said, pick up this issue. Great plot twist, and Silas' art perfectly fits the Beyond universe. Look forward to a review of the first full length "issue" next week with the second digital chapter. (Note: I've been alerted that next week will be Justice League Beyond 2.0, so week after that)
