Batman #? peek.

Missed this one last week, but Greg Capullo said "to hell with getting permission" and posted a sneak peak of Bruce going all judo on someone.

Chris Burnham talks Leviathan Strikes

Batman Incorporated/Leviathan artist Chris Burnham talked to CBR in one of their Bat Signal interviews about the recent Batman Incorporated: Leviathan Strikes one shot, going into some detail about working with Gran Morrison, the structure of the issue he drew, and pre/post New 52 continuity stuff.

Then, there's also this:
They haven't solicited the first issue of "Batman Inc's" return yet...
That will be coming soon! I know the answer, but I don't think I'm allowed to say. It's not as soon as people want, but we're working hard on it, and it's coming.
Blah! I'm betting May, but will not be surprised if we get a June release for Leviathan #1. If we're lucky, and I mean really lucky, maybe we'll see the sucker in April solicits, two weeks from now. Knock on wood.

Regardless, worth a read, sheds some light on some interesting stuff.

Greg Capullo Catwoman sketch.

Batman artist Greg Capullo sketched up his rendition of Catwoman last night, and will be giving away free prints of it at an upcoming Arizona comic convention.

I've really enjoyed Capullo's take on the classic villains. He had an awesome halloween themed sketch featuring a bunch of them. I also seem to remember listening to a podcast where Scott Snyder said he may have some ideas to utilize Selina, so assuming Capullo is still on board at that point (if it ever happens) this may be along the lines of what we get from him.

Looking Forward: January 4th, 2012

Aaaaaah, shit. Ringing in the new year with the new Gotham Spoilers.

To kick off the brand new site (for real, this time) here's what will be covered next week:
  • Detective Comics #5: The start of a new (3 issue?) arc features the Penguin launching a floating Iceberg Casino, but as you can guess, Batman will probably ruin the party.
  • Batwing #5: Series artist Ben Oliver is back, and from what I can gather from the preview, it seems Massacre has employed Bruce Wayne's Batman Inc. method of crime fighting, and adapted it to... well, just plain old crime. Good thing Batman is conveniently in Africa too.
  • Huntress #4: The hunt is on, we know who Helena is after, and hopefully, with only two issues left after this one, the series picks up some steam as it heads to the conclusion.
And there we have it, the new Gotham Spoilers is officially open! To celebrate this, you should follow Gotham Spoilers on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ to make sure you miss NOTHING.

Well, seeing that this is an issue that will be covered within the first week of the new Gotham Spoilers, I guess I'll be double dipping and posting it here.

Behold! The first official post!

Meanwhile, at Gotham Spoilers HQ

We've got 12 more days until becomes the only Gotham Spoilers, so until then, here's something to illustrate how I have too much time on my hands.

Friday, December 16, 2011

Hey, Gotham Spoilers is on Facebook too!

First Google+ now, FACEBOOK! Just made an official page you can like for GothamSpoilers, you should be able to see a widget near the bottom on the left hand bar, or you could just click this link.

Gotham Spoilers now on Google+

As I continue to test out random features over here on Blogger, I started pressing buttons and ended up linking the blog to the Google+ account that I honestly forgot I created.

Apparently any post I put up on here will now be sent to the Google+ profile, so this is pretty much just a test of that feature.

So, if you use Google+ I guess this means you should add Gotham Spoilers on Google+, or else Batman will find you and break your neck. Truth.

Maybe I'll make a Facebook page for it? I don't know. I might have actually done that already, we'll see.

25 More Days.

Well, if you're already following the new Gotham Spoilers, good for you, you're ahead of the curve.

Earlier today I realized that this move I'm making pretty much mirrors the current status of the DC Universe, as in I've rebooted Gotham Spoilers, but not completely, kind of, sorta. So, I found that kind of funny.

Anyways, looking ahead, before the launch of the site, I'll be fooling around here to get everything just right. Because I'm now paying for the domain, albeit not that much, I'll have some ads up on the site. It's my goal to make these as non-intrusive as I can, simply for the integrity of the site. And hell, if you have AdBlock, you won't even see them... I didn't, because lord knows I got frustrated refreshing my site and not being able to see where these ads were, only to realize I had AdBlock on. Am I gonna get rich quick? Probably not. But if I can at least make the money back I spent on the domain, that'll be cool.

Also, I'll be doing new types of posts. I'm toying around with ideas here and there about what I can do. First idea will be a wrap up post of news stories/interviews that are about the books covered, or general happenings in the Gotham end of the DCU. Still brainstorming other post ideas.

So yeah, that's what's up. I'm looking forward to moving Gotham Spoilers here full time, and excited at the possibilities that this could create. Hope you guys are too!

Coming soon.

Be patient... I'll start using this as the main Gotham Spoilers page come January 1st, 2012. Until then, keep an eye on the Gotham Spoilers tumblr site for all the updates.

I'm currently debating whether or not to import all the old posts... I can, but it'll be a bit messy. The posts formats will be a little jacked, so I may opt out that direction and just start this cold turkey.

Regardless, I've got some time until I get this going in full, so I can figure it out later.

Until then,
