This issue is the equivalent of looking in the mirror and saying Grant Morrison's name three times.

SPOILERS: Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death #6

In my own opinion, I don't think this book stuck the landing, which shouldn't come as a surprise.

The Spoilers:

So big plant dude is the old Dr. who hired Ivy, he had cancer and needed stem cells from Ivy's research and girls. Swamp Thing shows up, helps them win. Ivy realizes she has friends, girls leave while they can, wanting to see the world, but they've got cliffhangery secret plans... that we'll probably never follow up on, not that I'd need it.

The Opinion:

Yeah. Shouldn't come as a surprise that I didn't feel anything towards this issue. Total "Last issue, here's some bad guy, here's his monologue and now it's over" sort of vibe. I'm also not a fan how once again, the narration switches to a different character once Swamp Thing shows up, giving readers his whole deal... I would have just trusted everyone to figure it out, it's the last issue, the last thing we need is an abrupt change in narrator so newly introduced (old) character gives his brief history, it just disrupts what little flow there already is. Then we got 100% fill-in, which didn't look great, so that was extra disappointment on top. Yeah... book started out real strong, but once it started dealing with the kids and big bark man, I lost all interest, just wasn't very interesting.
