Another week, another batch of comics to loosely talk about.

SPOILERS: Batman #9

It's saying something when a LoSH character hanging out in Batman is hardly the most WTF moment of an issue.

SPOILERS: Nightwing #7

The circus is a strange place, evident by the endless Nightwing stories that come from it.

SPOILERS: Robin: Son of Batman #7

So here we are, the penultimate issue of Robin War, and I have no idea what to feel towards this story.

The Spoilers:

The short version of this issue is that while Dick is off confronting the Talons on his own, Tim, Jason, Damian and the other Robin kids fight off a group of Talons, but lose Damian somewhere in the shuffle.

Riko, having seen a Talon before at Gotham Academy, leads Tim, Jason and the rest of the We Are Robin cast to where that Talon came from the ground and they find a lab underneath the school where the Court is trying to hatch elite Talons.

Meanwhile, Dick is lead to the person leading the Court at the moment… Lincoln March, because apparently Batman Eternal just didn't happen… not sure if that's good or bad. He basically says they've got global plans, and a new Gray Son, so Dick can go on and die.

That new Gray Son confronts Tim and Jason, and it's fucking Damian with some Talons for some reason. Obviously, he's playing at something, but still… completely random.

The Opinion:

Man, I don't know anymore. This is a weird story. If it didn't remind me of Batman and Robin enough with it saving all the information for the end, here we have Lincoln March, who the Court of Owls fucking hates and had frozen under the city, leading the Court of Owls. Man, this is a weird story, and I don't know how I feel about it.

  1. Maybe the Court thought better of Lincoln March and decided to use him again after all.

  2. DcYOU yo! stories that...continuity...something...something.

  3. I believe the explanation will be given... I hope the Talons released him, and he established himself as "King of Owls" he always wanted to be. It is clearly too much of a hand wave, to reintroduce him this way... this basically contradicts all the Snyder work, Talon comic, and Eternal.

  4. But all in all, it's a good decision to merge the character with the organization.
