Batman Group March 2016 Solicitations

The big 5-0 month for a number of titles, and to celebrate, you get to pay more for all your favorites who managed to survive the New 52 for this long. Along with the extra money, you get extra pages... but I'd expect some fill-in on just about any of the issues other than Batman. It also seems as some things might be coming to an end, like look at that Catwoman solicit, it specifically says the end to the current team's story. But it is also solicitation text which doesn't really mean anything half the time.

Other changes to note:
  • Fernando Pasarin seems to bee the new permanent artist of Detective because DC apparently is trying it's hardest to get me to drop the book once and for all.
  • Greg Capullo is back and will be promptly leaving for an undetermined amount of time... but if what I've heard ends up being true... You know what, NOPE. Nothing
  • Batman and Robin Eternal is ending this month.
  • Grayson seems to be working for the Court now too... Robin War spoilers?
  • Are we really making Harley look like her movie counterpart now or are we just doing a cover?
Full solicitations after the jump.

  1. Oh FHIZ, you tease. Not sure if you're referencing rumors on certain gossip sites or just implying that you think Capullo's not coming back. I've been skeptical that he will since the announcement, but I'd also like to take he and Snyder at their word that he will be back. Or at least that really was the plan when it was announced.

    1. One other thought: kudos to Snyder and DC for never being cagey about whether Bruce would be back in the cape in cowl. They flat out say so in the #50 solicit. Reminds me of when Marvel was all, "Nope, Peter Parker's dead and Otto Octavious is Spider-Man forever. Period. Never gonna change."

  2. I don't think Grayson is necessarily working for the court as his cover references the three biggest influences the NU52 version has had; Batman (the bats), Spyral (the web),and the court (the owl). Seems like they might be angling for a "he's his own man" type storyline. I just really miss his Titans affiliation. I guess we'll see.
