Ra's should wear a suit more often, that's my biggest take away from this issue.
Surprise, hero goes to place in their past and everyone wants them dead! Whoops.
Batman heads to the past, then gets Metal, meanwhile Nightwing fights everyone.

Apparently this issue is supposed to end on a cliffhanger or something?
AHHHHHHH, BATMAN AND ROBIN ETERNAL, DON'T YOU DARE BE SOUR, CLAP FOR JPV AND FEEL THE POWAH.
Bane being part of that would feel fitting, no?

Well, it's Thanksgiving and for some reason you're here on my site, which either means you've made bad decisions or live outside the US. Anyways, comics happen next week and it is fucking December.
- Robin War #1: There's like a million Robins, maybe you've heard? They're going to war now.
- Batman and Robin Eternal #9: Bane is in this book because of course he is.
- Gotham Academy #12: Will Olive pull a Ralph Wiggum and burn it all? Let's find out!
- Harley's Little Black Book #1: Harley, Wonder Woman and a bunch of British heroes we've never seen before, what could go wrong?
Now excuse me, I'm going to go enjoy the day off.

Yo, in case you were wondering, Mother is still up with some sketchy shit and I guess you should't touch Cassandra Cain's hair also Michael Lane is WAAAAAY better, just throwing that out there.

Again, there's a discussion to be had about how fucking difficult DC makes it to find their previews unless you follow a bunch of websites you've never heard of before.
Anyways, I feel like this should be a big issue?

This upcoming week isn't as crazy as I thought it'd be. No Batgirl or Gotham Academy this month apparently, that'll do it.
- Batman and Robin Eternal #8: Mother? Mother.
- Grayson #14: Dick? Dick.
- Robin: Son of Batman #6: Robin? Robin.
- We Are Robin #6: Other Robins? Other Robins.
Also, Dark Knight III comes out next week, and if it really is more Azzarello slanted, then I bet it'll be just fine.

So, some creative news... Well, not much really. Yanick Paquette will be illustrating Batman #49, as I can almost guarantee we'll get an extra sized #50 which might be Capello's last for the foreseeable future. Fernando Pasarin is on Detective, which I'm not happy about... Hate how he draws Batman's cowl. What else? Harley Quinn don't give a crap about continuity apparently. That's not the Robin cover for February (actually, it's this month's), and in outside of Gotham news, Tim Seeley is taking over New Suicide Squad.
I've said it countless times, especially with the movie coming out, DC really needed to kick that book in the ass, because from what I read, it wasn't anything special and boy did it not look like anything special either. I've always said Suicide Squad needs a writer with an edge and a unique voice for all those characters, and I can't think of a better character writer currently at DC other than Seeley. He just nails it with every character he uses. I remember back when I was reading Hack/Slash and Revival had just started, he released a one-shot in Legends of the Dark Knight and I went "man, he should be writing more at DC." Yep, I'm pretty happy with the outcome, some odd years later. So yeah, I'm real excited about that book now.
On to the solicits!

Look man, I don't need your shit. Did I use a duplication glitch to boost all my Fallout 4 S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats to 10? Yeah. I did. And it's awesome! I don't play Bethesda games to be challenged, I play them to go on a total power trip through these big worlds with broken ass glitches that allow me to break it to my benefit. I did the same thing in Skyrim and you know what's pretty fucking awesome? Being able to stealth kill fucking dragons with a single arrow. YEAH. So don't you be looking at me like you're better than me!

I was a little hesitant to continue covering Harley, because I mean, there's not really a point due to the story being so erratic and over the place, but whatever, it's a slim week coming up anyways.
- Batman and Robin Eternal #7: Whose bright idea was it to have Grayson go on a European vacation with a bunch of underage teenage girls he barely knows? STRANGER DANGER.
- Harley Quinn #22: Pretty sure Harley and her gang are going to be beating up elderly Russians in this issue.
Man that thanksgiving week Wednesday is going to be stacked, isn't it?

Is that Alfred destroying the brain thing? Man, they're really fucking with readers trying to make them think Bruce is never coming back, aren't they? Alfred is going to be SUPER BUMMED when Bruce goes all Batman again.
Who wants to bet a majority of the unique characters of this run get killed off? Slash and burn baby!
Also, probably the last issue I cover of this series. Given the creative change, the next direction looking to be a bit paint by numbers, and how it was unceremoniously announced, I'm willing to bet this book won't make it far past #50 (probably end at #52, because: lol, DC)

I'll be honest, about halfway through writing this post I just straight up didn't want to be doing it anymore... Which says something in terms of my desire to continue dedicating as much time to this site as I already do now, but that's a discussion for another day. So yeah... pretty short on words when it comes to the Image books. Sorry.

Fallout 4 comes out next Tuesday... fucking good luck, comics.
- Batman #46: Batman is all "I don't know I'm Batman," then Batman is like "I'm Batman!" I don't know... Fallout!
- Batman and Robin #6: Thankfully, Tony Daniel comes back this issue to make the book look great again.
- Catwoman #46: Genevieve Valentine's final issue of the title... Boo.
Seriously... I might wake up super early to read and write, because fucking Fallout, son.
