Finale of the series! Batman does stuff in this issue! Who would have guessed?
Honestly, not a whole lot happens in this issue. Batman finds the Seth character, gets him back to the Asylum and back on his meds, which make him feel alive, like he got brought back from the dead, so he hates Batman for that. Alfred finds some legal ways to regain the manor, but Bruce knows the city isn't ready to have a permanent new Asylum, so he hold off. He keeps on observing the patients.
Yeah, this issue turned out to be what I thought it was going to be when the big story wrapped up last issue... Just wrapping up whatever was left, none of it particularly interesting. There were a few things here and there that I left out, like Arkham claiming to the police that Jack Shaw called to taunt him, and Bruce doesn't know why he'd lie like that, but I got to figure... is that even going to matter? Overall, I thought this was a cool concept, but the potential didn't seem to be utilized. What could have been a really cool series about Arkham just sort of ended up forgettable in the end with no real lasting hooks. Kind of disappointed, honestly.
