2016 takes something else from us, and this time it's Chew.

SPOILERS: Detective Comics #945

The gift of Clayface, TAKE IT IN MAAAAAAAAAAN. (reference!)

SPOILERS: Batgirl #5

I could make a joke about memory and my feelings towards this arc, but that would be rude.

Batman Group February 2017 Solicitations

Batwoman returns to the world of having her own solo in February.

I'm pretty sure I got through this post without making one reference to wrestling.

No Endgame tie-ins? HAH! Think Again!

With "Endgame," I was actually pretty excited that there (at the time) wasn't going to be any tie-ins. The crossovers started to lose all importance by the third go of 'em, so the prospect of a contained story was nice...

TOO BAD MOTHERFUCKER!

"Endgame" tie-ins coming this March! Makes sense given how just recently Snyder said that Endgame would have a big effect on the Bat universe in more ways than one, so I guess it's only right to show some of it right before the regular DCU takes a two month vacation.

We're getting a number of one-shots in March, ranging from Detective Comics all the way to Gotham Academy of all books, and given that these aren't the regular issues, I'd suspect we're still getting issues like Batgirl #40 and what not.

While part of me is a little over the whole crossover thing, the other part is interested given the different editorial team behind this. Hopefully these issues are cool, and matter.

  1. Well, DC's gotta do something to pad the sales numbers in advance of what will almost certainly be the underwhelming performance of Convergence. No better way than a crossover tied into a Scott Snyder-penned Batman story!
