OKAY YOU GUYS, I know I've done this a lot, but I swear, it's totally true this time, Space Ronald Reagan told me in a dream that it was, SO YOU KNOW I'M RIGHT! I'll just let the evidence speak for itself, by just posting a whole bunch of Tweets, because that's how true journalists do these days!

Changing a book's whole tone and aesthetic? What book could possibly need that? For the life of me, I can't think of a sing--

Ooooooh yeah...

*I have no fucking clue what I'm talking about but if this turns out to be true, I'll totally act like I did!

  1. God I hope so. Please please please. A new Cam Stewart Catwoman run would be great! I loved the Bru/Cooke/Stewart iteration from ten years ago. THAT IS Selina to me.

    1. Oh man, I love that run as well, especially his work. I hope it's good! Also, I'm not very familiar with Brenden Fletcher's work. I wonder if he's good?

  2. I haven't read the actual article yet, but I just need to acknowledge your photoshop skills.

  3. There's also apparently a Gail Simone secret project in the works. I would buy the hell out of a Gail Simone Catwoman illustrated by Cameron Stewart. Unfortunately, I don't think that much buy-bait is in the works.

Honestly, I expected Simone to be on something like "Gotham Academy." As I understand it, she pitched something similar a few years back with Black Alice and Bumblebee.

    1. I actually think Stewart is writing something for DC, so that last tweet might be completely irrelevant. Who knows.

As for Simone, yeah I heard that in the Johns AMA. After me coming to realize that I don't think Batgirl is a very good book, I can't really say I'd be excited about anything she writes now.

  4. Since Dc has announced that they want to appeal to female readers, I'm really hoping for some new female-led Bat books. Birds of Prey needs a revamp and it's totally in a position for a reboot.
Turning Catwoman into a solo book about the Queen of Crime would be magnificent.
