Another week, another batch of comics to loosely talk about.

SPOILERS: Batman #9

It's saying something when a LoSH character hanging out in Batman is hardly the most WTF moment of an issue.

SPOILERS: Nightwing #7

The circus is a strange place, evident by the endless Nightwing stories that come from it.

Rebirth coming into the new year hot.

Man, I sure wish Damian showed up in Batman books too... you know, where it'd make total and complete sense?

Looking Forward: May 7th, 2014

You tired of Eternal yet? How about Batman/Superman? Remember that book? Me neither! But all that and MORE, next week.
  • Batman Eternal #5: Hey! Tim Drake... where the hell have you been? With the "Teen Titans?" Who are they? They sound lame and totally forced with no context after having their history wiped... or something like that.
  • Detective Comics #31: I thought the first issue from this new creative team was good, but a bit choppy, so hopefully things smooth out this time around.
  • Batman/Superman #10: The first of two issues that weren't originally solicited! The introduction of Ray Palmer! ...Even though he already appeared in the cancelled Frankenstein book.
  • Batwing #31: And Batwing fights his old not-venom addict friend, and my interest is seriously waining.
So that's that. Look for the return of Panels of the Week in just a bit, and I'll have more than two or so books to talk about in Stack Rundown later this week.

As always! Make sure to support Gotham Spoilers by shopping through my affiliate banners. Every dollar earned further convinces me to keep on going deep down this hole... And being that it's May, I should probably bring up the fact that last month was the four year anniversary of the site... I can't remember a time before Gotham Spoilers... OH GOD.

Finally, Free Comic Book Day is Saturday, and DC decided to actually put some effort in this year, rather than reprinting an old issue. So yeah, The New 52: Futures End #0... that's a thing.
