SPOILERS: Batgirl #52

How do you end a book that kind of already ended?

Rebirth: Legacy and Who's to Blame for the New 52

In one of the most meta-contextual things DC has put out in years, without Grant Morrison's involvement, hope returns to the DCU.

The final week before everything changes!

SPOILERS: Harley Quinn #28

God damn it Harley, why do you have to be good when I want to save time by writing about less books.

SPOILERS: Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death #5

Well, this book could have been so much more, but I'm kind of just... not that into it anymore.

Dick Grayson's New Partner is WHO!?

Ladies and gentlemen... Helena Bertinelli is back!

"But what about Worlds' Finest #1 saying she's dead!" WHO CARES!? What has Worlds' Finest given you other than two years worth of stories where nothing happens? HELENA B IS BACK!

Who, what, how?! I don't know! I haven't even read the fucking interview yet, but I don't care! This is nuts! Nuts I say!

EDIT: Okay, actually read the interview… Man this sounds great. Note, this is not Helena as the Huntress, it's straight up just her as an agent of Spyral, and a good one, as she's going to be the pro, Dick is going to be the scrub… Can't wait!

  1. Wouldn't be the first spy to fake their death to operate incognito.

... wait, that's also what Dick Grayson just did. Maybe it's a Spyral thing?

  2. The article in general has increased my interest in this series (and even more-so for Nightwing 30 when it FINALLY comes out!. The fact that Dick carrying a gun will the the "symbolic centre" in his character struggles and growth, how Helena is coming back in truer form, and how they're accounting for the need for being able to visually recognize a comic book character readily.

Not sure about the whole "same level as the DC trinity" though.... Definitely would like to see the likes of Steve Trevor or Amanda Waller be a part of this in some way. They're shady government agents too!

By the way, any one else notice the mess of typos in the article? Definitely could use a lesson from someone.

  3. Nice! I was so pissed about the whole Huntress/Worlds Finest discarding Bertenelli as an alias!
