SPOILERS: Batman #25

Nothing is funny, and that's the problem.

SPOILERS: All-Star Batman #11

Random note, but I really like the design of the villain of this arc.

SPOILERS: Nightwing #23

Dick Grayson is a pretty shitty boyfriend.

SPOILERS: Batwoman #4

At the end of the day, this arc was just too plain.

Tomasi on Two-Face and July Batman Event

Back when the final issue of Batman and Two-Face hit, there was an ending that seemed... pretty clear what happened, but then again, it was off panel... and well... In an interview with Newsarama today, Peter Tomasi confirmed that everything is what it seems, Two-Face put a gun to his head, pulled the trigger, and kablamo, his blood on Gilda's photo... So there's that.

He went on to say that his upcoming arc in Batman and... entitled "The Hunt for Robin" is a "prologue for one of Batman's BIG 75th Anniversary stories this year within the family of Batbooks" which starts in July. Personally... I take this as GIVE ME BACK DAMIAN WAYNE, YOU SONSABITCHES!

Seriously.

...I fucking want Damian back, I'm over him being dead.

  1. How cool would it be if Grant Morrison was the "very special artist"?!
He did art for a while didn't he?

    1. I don't know that he's done too much interior art for comics, at least not for anything mainstream (to my knowledge), but he did do a pretty great variant cover to Batman, Incorporated Vol. 2 #13.

    2. He drew comics very early on in his career in the UK. Since then, I don't know if he's ever actually drawn anything sequential. It would be crazy, but most likely not gonna happen.

  2. It would be awesome if it was Burnham, but that seems unlikely.

  3. Man, Two Face's suicide seems like such a waste of a character potential. He was barely in the New 52 and then blammo.... People wouldn't be so non-chalant if this was the Joker....
