I could make a joke about memory and my feelings towards this arc, but that would be rude.
Batwoman returns to the world of having her own solo in February.
I'm pretty sure I got through this post without making one reference to wrestling.

Futures End, Batman Beyond Begins
I kind of hate myself for that headline, but oh well. So, you may have heard the news today, DC announced it's second weekly title for 2014, The New 52: Futures End, once thought to be called "Five Years Later." Written by Jeff Lemire, Brian Azzarello, Keith Giffen and Dan Jurgens, the title will feature the DCU, five years into the future where shit has apparently gone real bad.
Just take a look at that image... What the fuck is going on there? Well, I got some thoughts, which I'll share with you after the jump.
You might notice a particular prominent figure there... Sort of looks like Terry McGinnis, doesn't it? Well, some form of Batman Beyond is getting integrated into the real continuity. No, it has nothing to do with the animated series or Kyle Higgins' current title... but That suit pretty much is a 1 to 1 copy of Terry's. At first I thought maybe it was the suit we saw as a prototype in an issue of Batman right before Zero Year started, but that was described as being way more than 5 years off, so I think that was still an easter egg. Looking at the rest of this image, it seems like another costume we've seen Batman in is to the right of Wonder Woman's head. What costume is that? The Superman: Unchained one.
Then there's a feline character next to that Batman looking dude. SEE DC! This is what fucking happens to Catwoman when you continue to let Nocenti write her!
Anyways, the title will launch on Free Comic Book Day with a #0 issue, followed by the first weekly issue sometime later in May with artists such as Eathan Van Sciver, Aaron Lopresti, Dan Jurgens, Jesus Merino and others. Until then, maybe read the JLI Annual from last year again.
