SPOILERS: Forever Evil and Nightwing

YO, HE'S TOTALLY FUCKING DEAD!

Or not... well, at least not yet.

As you may have heard already due to the Bleeding Cool leak, the Crime Syndicate expose Nightwing's identity to the world. As seen below...

Why? Well, because they're dicks, essentially. To prove how big of dicks they are, they claim they will hunt down and destroy all who Dick Grayson cares about, and will administer a similar fate to anyone who opposes them.

The Bruce Wayne connection wasn't made initially, even Lex Luthor goes "Who the hell is Richard Grayson?" but I'm willing to bet that this is far from the end of Nightwing's role in Forever Evil... What's going to come from this, who knows?

  2. Is it generally known in the nu52 that Nightwing was Robin I? There's a difference between a headline that reads "Son of Millionaire Bruce Wayne Grows Up to be Vigilante" vs. "Bruce Wayne's Son was Robin!"

  3. I'm pretty disgusted with how they're treating very beloved character in the New 52. They're literally beating the crap out of him and exposing him in front of the world.
If he lives, he'll need a new identity.

    1. Yeah, that's what bad guys tend to do.

    2. It's to be expected with this Forever Evil story arc they're doing.

  4. When they wrap this up...Nightwing needs to kick some serious ass. Batman trained him, he was Batman for awhile, he held his own against the court of owls...Being second to Batman doesn't mean you suck, it means there is only one man on the planet you can't beat.

    1. To say there's only one person he can't beat is pretty delusional, especially when he's attacked by the evil Justice League.

    2. Didn't mean it that literally. He was trained by Batman, one of, if not the best fighters, strategists and detectives ever. I just feel like he's underrated and being written as if he's still a kid pretending to be a superhero.

    3. He got taken by surprised, beat up, and taken prisoner, there's not much he could do about it.

    4. And he was facing people with SUPER STRENGTH!!!1

  5. I don't care how good Nightwing is. He's not going to win an ambush by an evil Batman and and evil Wonder Woman. He's only been a superhero for what, 4 years, in the nuDCu? I wouldn't mind an escape by him of the CSA reminiscent of Bruce's escape from Darkseid's minions in Final Crisis though in a coming issue.

  6. I feel like DC is planning something big for Grayson... bringing him to a literal rock bottom in order to do something amazing with him. his 75th anniversary is in like two years, I think. coincidence??

  7. I have a theory that Dick Grayson may be the Batman on the cover of Forever Evil 2 because I am pretty sure that it isn't Bruce. Then with Dick Grayson being unmasked to the world, he is going to want to continue to fight the Crime Syndicate somehow even though I am probably wrong. I just get the feeling that it isn't Bruce since Geoff Johns said it might not be him in an interview and my best guess is Dick Grayson after what just happened.
