SPOILERS: Batman #25

Nothing is funny, and that's the problem.

SPOILERS: All-Star Batman #11

Random note, but I really like the design of the villain of this arc.

SPOILERS: Nightwing #23

Dick Grayson is a pretty shitty boyfriend.

SPOILERS: Batwoman #4

At the end of the day, this arc was just too plain.

The Joker and Jackanapes

Again, I'm pretty damn sure DC doesn't actually have anything new left for "What's New in the New 52" because this week, we get to see Jackanapes... who was introduced in Batman #666, way back when. Andy Kubert is obviously the connection here, since he originally drew Jack, and is writing the issue at hand. Jack will also apparently be appearing in Damian: Son of Batman later this year, as well.

That all being said, the circus gorilla will be appearing in Batman #23.1 with the Joker, and I'd be lying if I said that Andy Clarke (and I assume Blond on colors) art didn't look amazing.

  1. I love this, the idea of Joker raising Jackanapes is so twistedly goofy. An origin that lives up to a Morrison villain.
