More Artists Confirmed for Harley Quinn #0

So, Harley Quinn #0, it'll be Harley hand picking the artist she wants to draw her book, auditioning some of the industry's best. During SDCC, the first confirmed artist was Adam Hughes, and the recent solicitations confirmed the likes of Tony Daniel, Darwyn Cooke, Sam Kieth, Paul Pope, Walter Simonson, and Art Baltazar, but that's not all!

Joining the #0 issue will be Harley Quinn's co-creator Bruce Timm (fuck yeah), Dave Johnson, and unsurprisingly, Amanda Conner herself, who I'm willing to bet may open and close the issue.

I think it's safe to say none of these all-stars will be the regular artist, as aside from Tony Daniel, who has his own book, none of these artists are really known for monthly work at the moment. I wonder if the final choice will actually be on this issue, let alone revealed in solicits prior to the release of this issue. They'd have to, right? You can't ask a retailer to order a book with no artist announced, for three months or so straight?

Anyways, this all comes from an interview with newly weds Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner over at Newsarama. What I find fascinating is how quickly this book came together. At SDCC, Palmiotti mentioned how he only got the news of the series being green lit shortly before, but they were literally getting artists to join the #0 issue at panels or on the floor.
