Stack Rundown, 11/27/2016

2016 takes something else from us, and this time it's Chew.

SPOILERS: Detective Comics #945

The gift of Clayface, TAKE IT IN MAAAAAAAAAAN. (reference!)

SPOILERS: Batgirl #5

I could make a joke about memory and my feelings towards this arc, but that would be rude.

Batman Group February 2017 Solicitations

Batwoman returns to the world of having her own solo in February.

I'm pretty sure I got through this post without making one reference to wrestling.

Batman Group October 2013 Solicitations

There are officially too many series for me to tag individually in this post anymore, so solo "solicitations" tag it is.

So they're doing this earlier than one would expect, but I guess since SDCC is next week, they need to get these out of the way? Don't know what this would mean for any possible new books, because DC is still below that 52 number, and considering The New 52 was describing their "ongoing monthly" books, those Forever Evil minis don't count, try again DC!

Changes to note! Only one, actually. Emanuel Simeoni will be illustrating Talon. Don't have much of an opinion on that, as I'm generally unfamiliar with his work.

Also, Batman #24 is double sized. Greg Capullo and the rest of the Batman team are probably pretty busy right now.

  4. I wonder how Detective, Dark Knight, etc. will jive with Forever Evil and Trinity War aftermath.

Also, why is everyone getting so anal about the New 52 branding? So what if it's not an ongoing? Jesus.

  5. Why do some many series' have so many covers during this month?
I like the low-cut costume Superman is sporting on the cover of Superman/Batman #4.
Why are they now focusing on Two-Face in the "Batman and Robin" series? After the grieving arc, we should be onto the search for a new Robin. I don't like how they keep bringing Carrie Kelly back up. She's wouldn't make a good Robin!
I like the direction that the Batwoman series is taking!
Batgirl has a cool cover, now we just need a new Batgirl or a new title for Barbara.
Not sure what I'm looking at on the new Batwing cover, it's nice, simple artwork but it's hard to tell how his new armor will look.
Birds of Prey: continues to go downhill.
The Joker's daughter could make a good arch nemesis for Catwoman! (she could use one at this point).
Nightwing and his annual both look good. The Nightwing annual better focus on Nightwing more though!
Finally, on the Red Hood cover...I see Lady Shiva in the background!

    1. I'm glad we're going Robinless for awhile. The less dead children the better, I always say.
