Zero Year Crossover in November

Well, weren't we all naive in believing that there wouldn't be a crossover involving Zero Year, when it was originally described as it's own thing. Ha! Nope! Come November, Zero Year will be crossing into a number of Bat titles, showing those characters during the time period the story is set within.

We got the same pitch as no one is required to jump in on the Zero Year fun, and all of it was other creators wanting to hop on board, same with Night of the Owls and Death of the Family, which is all fine... but man does it seem that numerous Bat titles struggle to their own momentum going.

No specifics on which titles would be tie-ins come November, but you'd have to expect books like Batgirl and Nightwing to be in there. Teen Titans, I'd guess not, since it'd be tying into Forever Evil around the same time. Perhaps we'd see Tim in different book, like Batman and Robin? I don't know... just tread as much water as they can while there is no actual Robin.

  1. I totally agree, all the batbooks struggle to get their own momentum going with all of the crossovers! The idea of linking them together in common storylines is neat, but this should be a rare occurrence rather than an annual one.
Batgirl should have gotten the most out of the "Death of the Family" crossover, but Nightwing was the one who ended up getting the spotlight. I'd rather just see the individual stories improve on their own terms.
