It's saying something when a LoSH character hanging out in Batman is hardly the most WTF moment of an issue.
The circus is a strange place, evident by the endless Nightwing stories that come from it.
Man, I sure wish Damian showed up in Batman books too... you know, where it'd make total and complete sense?

Jim Zub to Write Legends of the Dark Knight #49-50
Hey! Remember Jim Zub? The writer/creator of Skullkickers, who was announced to be the new writer of Birds of Prey with some pretty cool ideas, then almost immediately was announced to not be the new writer of Birds of Prey? Yeah, that sucked... especially since that last issue wasn't so hot, which makes me wonder what could have been.
Anyways, turns out DC's digital division on the west coast still likes Zub, as he wrote (for reals, this time) two chapters of the digital Legends of the Dark Knight, set to come out next week starting with #49.
Zub's chapters (with artist Neil Googe) will apparently be right up any The Animated Series fan's alley, as we'll see Batman go up against a very Dini/Timm inspired Harley Quinn, which sounds pretty good to me.
I've been pretty bad on covering the series lately, although, I haven't found a lot of the chapters all too great recently as well (especially the last six week arc, guys... don't do six week arcs), with the exception of one by Ray Fawkes I completely forgot to mention. Nevertheless, I'll be covering these two chapters for sure, with a review of the story after #50 comes out. It is also probably about time DC releases a new list of creative teams to come as well, because everything from #48-out (minus these two) is a big TBD.
Anyways, look forward to thoughts on Zub's chapters starting next Thursday.
