Batman Group March 2013 Solicitations

Good news everybody! I won't be dropping Batgirl out of protest, thanks to DC putting in a writer who I don't find to be a lazy go-to fill in situation!

Creative changes to note, Ray Fawkes, who is a friend of Jeff Lemire's, and co-writing JLD with him, will take over Batgirl as a "guest writer" (I'm betting the solicit given for #18 is really a rewritten #17), but the BC article about Gail's departure did note that it was Rich's understanding that whoever is filling it will take over. Maybe, who knows... regardless, I'm happy to hear it. We all know about the Birds writer, so that's that. Trevor McCarthy is back on art duty for Batwoman, which was to be expected after seeing the cover. Finally, Roger Bonet will be drawing this month's issue of Nightwing, which still hasn't had a firm replacement for Barrows announced yet... Hmm. There's also another title I wish I was reporting a change on, but sadly, not the case.

Hit the jump for March's solicits and covers!

  1. So everyone appears to be alive after Death of the Family . . . . except Alfred?! Should I be worried?
