SPOILERS: Detective Comics #953

And the mother of year award goes to... literally anyone but Lady Shiva

SPOILERS: Mother Panic #5

Lots of style, just need a little more easily discernible substance for my tastes.

SPOILERS: Batman #19

Man this book has been so good for the last couple months, so good!

SPOILERS: All-Star Batman #8

I'm not sure exactly why most of this issue happens, but it sure is cool.

SPOILERS: Nightwing #17

The Morrison influence doesn't end at the Batman and Robin references.

Panels of the Week, 07/26/2012

Sadly, no Chris Brunham Batman Incorporated art this week. Hit the jump for all my other picks.

Batman - The Dark Knight #11: The reason why I picked this panel is simply because of the shadow being cast by Scarecrow. Completely missed it the first time through, but going back through the issue to pick a panel, I noticed it, and immediately picked it. I love details like that.

All-Star Western #11: One of the more badass moments of the Talons that we've seen recently. I love the final shot of it, being as pulled back as it is.

Teen Titans #11: Prior to Teen Titans, I hadn't actually bought any book that Brett Booth drew, and from the outside looking in, there were these stylistic things about his work that rubbed me the wrong way... but now... now I'm a believer, and that's why.

Legends of the Dark Knight #8: Just another badass shot. Favorite little detail about it? All the cracked teeth flying everywhere.
