Layman/Fabok Take Over Detective Comics

Well, there you have it, DC confirmed what I deduced earlier this week, John Layman and Jason Fabok will be taking over Detective Comics in October.

I haven't read John Layman's Chew, so I can't really comment on how I feel about that. I will say that I'm glad they brought someone new in, a writer who will bring a fresh take to Batman, so there's that. As for Fabok, I've been singing his praises for awhile now, so it's about damn time.

After yesterday's issue, I say bring on October!

  1. Chew is easily one of the best comics on the market. So damn fun. Give it a shot.

  2. I've heared good things about CHEW so I'm hopeful, and Fabok's art in my opinion is much like Finch's but he's better at faces (Finch suck at faces) so really good news.

Also the tone of the book what with organised crime and stuff is right up my street.

    1. Glad I'm not alone on Finch and faces. They always remind me of people eating lemons, the way the nose is so small and everything. Maybe that's just me though, heh.
