Guillem March drawing Talon

News is coming in hot and fast on this one. Newsarama is reporting that Talon will be illustrated by Guillem March, which means Catwoman is going to have to have another artist.

This is one of those stories that is awesome and sucks at the same time. Guillem March excels as drawing crazy ass villains like this, but his Catwoman was SO good.

I'm sure this won't be the last post of the day about this book, so stay tuned.

  1. Not interested in Talon, but I definitely want to know who the new Catwoman artist is! Hopefully it's not a second-tier artist---Selina's book needs someone dynamic drawing her. I'm going to go out on a crazy limb and pray they lure back Jim Balent.

  2. Oh come on, it doesn't automatically mean he's leaving Catwoman does it? He can draw two series at the same time, right? He can't leave Catwoman!!!! This blows!!!! He can't be drawing two comics at the same time. It could just be a few issues of Talon. I mean, he wasn't drawing Catwoman for those three issues perhaps he was drawing Talon during those times and he'll alternate. He BETTER keep drawing Catwoman!!!!!!

    1. well, it's clear he isn't now, so this is sort of pointless to reply to, but do you know how much work goes into drawing a book on a monthly schedule? You'd be hard pressed to find any artist who could draw 30 pages a month regularly, let alone 20, on a consistent basis.

    2. Oh ok. I'm just new to comics so I don't know as much about all this stuff yet. LOL Is it possible though he could alternate between Catwoman and Talon? I don't know why the hell he would leave Catwoman to draw Talon. I mean he'd already made his commitment to Catwoman then he just switched it over to one just getting started. I didn't realize it was quite as long to draw comics, although it still doesn't sound impossible. LOL Whatever, I still love Catwoman and I enjoy Judd Winick's writing so I guess I'll still enjoy reading. I'm sure the artwork will still be good with whoever they choose. I heard it was some guy named Rafael Sanderval? I don't know for sure. Thanks for replying I was still waiting for an answer and this was helpful.
