SPOILERS: Batman #19

Man this book has been so good for the last couple months, so good!

SPOILERS: All-Star Batman #8

I'm not sure exactly why most of this issue happens, but it sure is cool.

SPOILERS: Nightwing #17

The Morrison influence doesn't end at the Batman and Robin references.

SPOILERS: Batwoman #1

In the wake of Grayson, Batwoman is the new Bat-related international adventures book.

Confirmed: Ed Benes Batgirl's New Regular Artist

A little bit late on this, but I just read confirmation that Ed Benes will indeed be Batgirl's new regular artist, starting in September. As stated simply enough on Benes' website:
"IT'S OFFICIAL: ED BENES IS THE NEW REGULAR ARTIST ON BATGIRL!!"
So, that's two out of four Bat book art changes that have been confirmed as regular changes. Catwoman and Red Hood remain up in the air.

This is the one I had the best feeling on being permanent, seeing that Benes was the only one who made the switch to interiors, and did the cover, as well as his past working history with Gail Simone. I welcome this change, I've always liked Benes (although, I will say his style has seemed to change a bit since last I read him on Birds) and look forward to he and Gail Simone working together again.

Now the only question is, will Ardian Syaf land anywhere? I hear Detective has an opening.

  1. If I remember right, Syaf is going to be doing Red Lanterns #0--since that's where Benes was before, maybe the two got switched around?

    1. You would be correct. That's very possible.
