Stack Highlights: 03/26/2017

Welcome to Stack Highlights, it's like Stack Rundown but with a fraction of the effort!

SPOILERS: Detective Comics #953

And the mother of year award goes to... literally anyone but Lady Shiva

SPOILERS: Mother Panic #5

Lots of style, just need a little more easily discernible substance for my tastes.

SPOILERS: Batman #19

Man this book has been so good for the last couple months, so good!

SPOILERS: All-Star Batman #8

I'm not sure exactly why most of this issue happens, but it sure is cool.

Panels of the Week

Crazy delusions, crazy villains, and a kiss that wouldn't fly so well in North Carolina! All in panels of the week!

Nightwing #9

From the get go, I was worried about Eddy Barrows' sense of motion in this book, as he always striked me as big action figure pose kind of guy. But then he does big splash pages like this, and they turn out absolutely beautiful to look at.

Birds of Prey #9

These were Victorian delusions from the point of view of Henry Ballard, the Talon that the Birds fought. Really like how new artist Travel Foreman tackled the designs.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #9

I've got to say, this wasn't the choice of the book necessarily because of Rocafort, but more because of colorist Blond, whose work has been integral to how fantastic this series art has been.

Catwoman #9

I mentioned in the write up about how good Guillem March is at drawing crazy ass creepy villains, and here is the example as to why I said that.

Batwoman #9

Scandal! Gaydar definitely did not go off on Sune... well, not until midway through this issue, then it was at code black alert by the final page of the book.

Justice League #9

You know who REALLY loves this panel? Jim Lee. Because, he can easily sell this sucker for a couple thousand dollars.
