Another week, another batch of comics to loosely talk about.

SPOILERS: Batman #9

It's saying something when a LoSH character hanging out in Batman is hardly the most WTF moment of an issue.

SPOILERS: Nightwing #7

The circus is a strange place, evident by the endless Nightwing stories that come from it.

Man, I sure wish Damian showed up in Batman books too... you know, where it'd make total and complete sense?

Site Update: Outside of Gotham

So, over the past few months since the New 52 launched, I've received a number of feedback requests asking if I'd cover series like Teen Titans since no other "bat book" had Tim Drake featured in it, or Suicide Squad because Harley Quinn was featured in it.

100% of the time, my answer was "Sorry, no, I've got a lot of books to cover regardless, and I'm trying to stick to "Bat" books only," but nevertheless, I still got requests for coverage on these series.

So, flash forward to today. After doing that Harley Quinn post, combined with the fact that I have "Earth Two" update, and special coverage of All Star Western when it tackles the Court of Owls, I decided "fuck it" and caved to these requests... sort of.

Hit the jump for the full run down of how this is going to work.
Long time readers, and I mean long time (back in the first year of the site, mid 2010,) will remember I briefly had a spin off site titled DCU Spoilers, where on top of the bat books I covered, I did the same for a handful of other DC Universe books. Flash, Green Lantern, Brightest Day, etc. See, that was during the summer when I had nothing to do, then senior year of college came about, and the work load got to be too much. I'll say this straight up, I do not intend to replicate that mistake. Here's what I'll be doing...

Every week, I'll have a single post summing up points of interest of titles that involve bat-related characters, but aren't really "Bat books" so to speak. I'll be giving you updates on what happens to these characters, a long with spoiler filled short reviews. These titles will also be included in my other panel of the week, solicit, and whatever else fits posts.

Books covered will be:
  • All-Star Western
  • Earth Two
  • Justice League
  • Suicide Squad
  • Teen Titans
  • Worlds' Finest
These are all titles that will feature characters related to the bat universe in some way, and books that I'm already reading, if not, plan to. So no, I will not be covering Justice League International for it's Batman/Batwing inclusion, already dropped that title. Nor will I be covering books that might guest star Batman briefly, it's just not worth it.

So basically, I'm doing short write ups on these books, among other things, I will not be doing full spoilers, (with the exception of All-Star Western for a few months) it's just too much extra work. These posts will probably come later in the week, I'm thinking Friday/Saturday, as content is a little thin those days anyways, and I really hate how every other site practically dies on the weekend.

So there you have it, that's what's going down. Through out next week I'll have summary "catch up" posts about what has gone on in the books currently published, and we'll go on from there.

You guys asked for it, I delivered. You're welcome, hope you like the new coverage.
