Panels of the Week

BATMAN ANGRY! BATMAN SMASH! No but really, the high point of yesterday's issue of Batman and Robin was just how fucking brutal the fight between Batman and Nobody was. Patrick Gleason, Mick Gray and John Kalisz really killed it on this issue.

Yeah! Shut up Barbara! God. One of the issues with Batgirl has been Babs tone. Yeah, survivors guilt and all that. It is a theme that sometimes works, sometimes is monotonous, verging on whiney. THANK GOD for Black Canary coming around and smacking some sense into Babs, basically telling her to quit her crying, shut up, and to snap out of it.

I knew I would like Amy Reeder's art on this book, but I had no idea she'd pull off stuff this creepy. I think it's the smile. Whenever some crazy victorian lady bleeding from the eyes, nose, and mouth is smiling, it's never a good thing.
